"Periferia"

Periferia is a magazine that celebrates fashion, beauty, and gastronomy through a contemporary cultural lens.

For this project, we created a series of images honoring Caribbean roots, inspired by the archetype of an ancient Caribbean goddess. The visuals draw from mythology, memory, and identity, reimagined through a modern editorial language.

The series blends traditional film photography with AI-generated elements, creating a dialogue between the tactile and the synthetic, the ancestral and the futuristic. This fusion allows the imagery to exist between worlds — grounded in heritage while pushing toward new visual territories.
